Wedding films that don’t look like the same one all your friends got.
Let’s face it - wedding videos are more cookie-cutter than ever.
Stop me if you’ve seen this before: everything in dramatic slo-mo, drone shot opening (I may be guilty of that one), overly happy song, over-the-top color grade.
Wouldn’t it be fun if your film was a little different? Wouldn’t it be great if your film captured what it feels like to have everyone together to celebrate your love?
I create films that feel like a nostalgic celebration that will allow you to relive your wedding day - and celebrate your love - for years to come.
Upbeat, fun, emotional, raw, candid - all of these elements will be packed into a film that you love and want to watch over and over again.
Let’s run into the street together at sunset. Let’s interview Grandma. Let’s take a shot together if that’s your style.
Let’s make something different that captures the essence of your love for each other. Something fun, upbeat, nostalgic, and timeless.

What’s it like working with me?
Attention to detail: I will ask you what’s most important to capture in your film to determine what will drive the edit. Kids, grandparents, unique venue elements, dogs, your great aunt’s special ring, family members without much time left - whatever is most important to you will all be wrapped into a film you can cherish forever.
Unique add-ons: Want sunset drone footage of the two of you dancing or walking through your venue’s prettiest settings? Camcorder footage mixed into your film for a vintage feel? Let’s do it.
A film you’ll love and rewatch: Look below to see what my couples are saying. Weddings are special so it’s my intention to wow you by being an amazing service provider first, then making an unforgettable edit to relive on anniversaries, share with friends, or even to watch years later when you want to see beautiful moments with lost loved ones or children that have since grown up.
My candid, loose, and personalized approach: Ever thought about who spends the most time with you on your wedding day? I’ll give you a hint… it’s the people with cameras :) I only take a few weddings a year so that each of my couples gets my full love and attention, both for them and their final film. I’ll take shots with you, I’ll tell you how great you look all day even if you’re crying, I’ll be your friend. I’ve worked for companies that hire shooters for the day and hand the footage off to an editor you never meet, and I can tell you from experience that all that gets you is an impersonal film that looks like everyone else's. So, you can think of me as the opposite of that.
FAQ
Q: How do I get the most out of my wedding video?
A: Communication is key! Both with me, and with your partner.. in the video :-) if you’re hoping for an emotionally impactful video, nothing makes a bigger difference than including heartfelt letters or personal vows. You don’t have to read them at the alter, either (at the risk of breaking down in tears while reading) - you can read them for the camera at the beginning of the day, or on a separate shoot on a day prior to your wedding. I do my best to make movie magic with whatever I’m given, but recording your vows for the camera (and taking your time writing them) gives me much more ability to play with the edit and get creative showing your love. Also, don’t be afraid to tell me what you want in your video, or send me examples of other videographers’ work that you like.
Q: Why do I need video if I have a photographer?
A: That’s the million dollar question! Though I’m biased, the answer is simple: video offers so much that photos cannot. I’ve had many couples say that they watch their video a million times after receiving it. I’ve watched my brother get so excited to share both the highlight and raw footage with our family - the video has become a family heirloom of a special day we all spent together. If any family or friends can’t make the wedding, they can celebrate you when they watch the video. As time goes on, your film will be a timeless way to look back at all the friends, children, parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents that came together for your special day. Not to mention, when working with me, you will get much more than the standard, cookie-cutter 3 minute highlight video set to pop music (no matter which package you get). If you’re not sold, feel free to inquire for a call, and I encourage you to ask your married friends if they’ve ever regretted getting a video.
Q: Will I look awkward on video?
A: Even if you enter your wedding day stiff or nervous, something I pride myself on is lighthearted, friendly service. I actually believe that 51% of my job is just to make you happy on the wedding day, rather than it being all making a perfect video. You can trust based on my past work that I’ll make you a great film, but first and foremost, I want you to be happy you worked with me on the big day. So if you’re nervous, I’ll crack jokes, I’ll take a shot with you, and I’ll remind you to take a moment to look into your partner’s eyes and relax. Once the wedding day comes, the work is done, and your family, close friends, and wedding planner will take care of you. Your job is to relax and enjoy your day and I’ll remind you of that!
Q: Do you travel?
A: Yes! I have shot weddings all around the US. I am currently based in Denver but have connections that bring me to DC, Hawaii, and Georgia. I am more than happy to fly in for your wedding. I do my best to keep travel fees under $500.
