Intimate Weddings, Elopements, & Engagement Sessions on Digital & Film
Candid moments. Never too posed. Photos of your wedding day as it actually felt.
Your day is all about your unique love story. Your photos should be too.
All of my weddings and sessions are shot on a mix of digital and film, with a focus on candid emotions and surrounding environment, creating a timeless, nostalgic catalogue of your perfect day.
Around here, we’re all about the candid moments. The in-betweens. The “I didn’t even know you were there” frames and maybe even some “I barely even remember that but I look SO happy!” type feels. Posing is cool - real moments are cooler. And that’s what your wedding and your love is all about - what’s real. Big smiles, belly laughs, tears from the heart, quality time with your people.
A gallery you can scroll, memories you can hold.
Every wedding package comes with a hybrid gallery: the whole day in digital, a (big) handful of frames shot on real film, and a set of prints included.

Meet your photographer
Hi, I’m Luke. If we’re going to be together for the biggest day of your life, we may as well get to know each other, right?
I’ve always had an artist heart - and, though I’m biased, I think that’s the kind of person you want following you around capturing all the details and in between moments of your wedding day. I have always loved to write, I’ve photographed and filmed everything under the sun since I picked up a camera, and I have learned that part of my purpose as a human being is to communicate the how things feel.
Weddings are a special thing - you’ve probably been thinking about how to make yours special for years. These pictures are something you’re going to look back on for the rest of your life. Capturing it authentically matters - I take photographs with intentionality and care.
A bit more about me - for the past 10 years I've been a filmmaker and photographer, working with dozens of businesses and nonprofits, as well as families and couples. I’ve called Denver home since 2022, been a full time entrepreneur since 2021, and you can find my film photo work around town on display in coffee shops or on the websites of local businesses.
One of the biggest things I’ve learned through my work, especially with regular people like you and me, is that every story is unique. That’s something I carry in my mind throughout the entire wedding day. Unlike some other photographers, I don’t do a million weddings a year - this is so I can show up energized with real care - not just running you through the same poses as every other couple and running out when our time is up.
I only take a handful of weddings a year, and this is intentional. The person you choose to photograph your wedding is one of the most important decisions you will make - after all, you’re going to spend the entire day with them. That’s why I prioritize building a relationship with you and your fiancé prior to the wedding, and pride myself on packing a warm presence (along with a few cameras) en route to your big day.
On your wedding day, you can count on me to be a calming and supportive presence for you, your fiancé, and your loved ones. I'll guide you into the best photos, steer you toward the best light, and with plenty of weddings under my belt, I know when to be a fly on the wall and let the moment speak for itself. I'll tell you how great you look, even mid-happy-cry. Relaxed couples make the best photos, so my first job is to help you enjoy your day.
If that resonates, I’d love to chat. There is no sales pressure - I want you to feel good about your choice. Talk soon!

Let's make something you'll hold onto.
Tell me about your day, your people, and your love. Let’s capture the moments that matter most.

Digital lets me capture the entire day without missing anything. Film is where I slow down, so those ~100 frames become the keepsake layer of your gallery. Together you get the full story. Also, film is harder to shoot, and only takes one photo at a time - so in those bigger moments (say, you’re walking down the aisle fighting tears for only 30 seconds), we love to have the option for something faster.
-
That’s okay! Most people aren’t professional models with loads of experience in front of the camera - so you’re in good company.
If you're nervous, I’ve got you - I’ll keep things light, steer you toward easy moments with your partner, and remind you to look at each other and breathe. Most of the best photos happen when you forget I'm there - but in the more posed, directed moments, I’ve got a number of movements and cues to help you feel natural and easeful.
If possible, we’ll also meet in person for a coffee or beer before the wedding to establish a rapport so we’ve established some trust before the wedding day.

Yes. I'm based in Denver and regularly travel around Colorado. I am happy to go further, and generally the added cost is limited to a night of lodging and flight. Get in touch with your wedding location and I'll share details.

Yes! For more dreamy, nostalgic shots in your gallery, you can customize your package to add additional rolls of film for $50 each.
